A new law in the UK will ban booster seats for small children in a bid to save lives.

The law, which will be introduced in December, will only allow the use of backless booster seats for children taller than 125cm and weighing more than 22kg.

New research by the AA Motor Insurance has revealed that Motorists are more concerned about the rising costs of Car Insurance than Gardaí policing the roads.

In a survey of over 8,800 motorists, 92% of people said that the biggest concern they had for the year was the cost of their car insurance.
