World News – An Artist creates a sculpture from a crashed car

An American artist, based in Miami, has created a sculpture from the wreckage of a crashed car.

The art installation was unveiled in Miami, Florida, as part of an inititive to raise the awareness of the dangers of texting and using your mobile phone while driving.

Named The Last Emoji the sculpture, which has taken the shape of the smiley face emoji, was created to coincide with Distracted Driving Awareness month which is taking place at the moment in the United States.

The American public are being encouraged to safely take a selfie with the sculpture and then post using the hashtag #SprintDriveSafe.

The piece of art was commissioned by the US telecommunications company Sprint.
